26 February 1888 in Watford, Hertfordshire, England. GENERAL Pearkes
was the Minister of Defence at the time the Arrow was cancelled
- General Pearkes always believed that he had made the right choice
in cancelling the project. In October 1960, Pearkes was sworn
in as the Lt.-Governor of BC. He died of a stroke in Victoria,
BC on 30 May 1984. |
